Fun! We believe kids should have it and that they learn so much more when it’s there!
This is why at Catalyst Kids we use Orange, a curriculum packed with high energy Scripture-based lessons, games and activities to engage children and teach them about Jesus. We want to eliminate any misconceptions that a relationship with God is stuffy or judgmental, but that in fact it can be fun and the best adventure of a lifetime.
The Orange curriculum is based on the belief that two combined influences make a greater impact than just two individual influences.
Our team of volunteers, who work with Catalyst Kids each week, have each been through a background check and are trained by our Catalyst Kids Director, Kathy Murray. Kathy and members of the Catalyst Kids have backgrounds in education, childcare and many are parents of children in our church. The team, led and trained by Kathy, participates in the annual Orange conference and has access to thousands of resources as part of the Orange curriculum to help your child(ren) have an experience of God in their lives.
Each week children meet in age-appropriate small groups where they experience the Gospel through song, video and hands-on activities that make a relationship with God come to life in a way they can understand. In addition, Kathy and the Catalyst Kids team share weekly cues and questions to help parents keep the conversation going at home via the Catalyst Connection eNewsletter and our social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
